DeSHAZO Crane Company to Provide Overhead Cranes to Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc.'s Memphis, Tennessee Facility

DeShazo Crane Company (“DeShazo”) announced today that it will provide overhead bridge cranes and other related items to Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (“MEPPI”) for use at MEPPI’s electric transformer production facility currently under construction in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Memphis facility will serve as MEPPI’s headquarters for heavy electrical equipment production in North America, and its extra-high voltage shell type power transformers will play an integral role in the continued development of stable and reliable electric grids in North America. The facility is scheduled to begin production of transformers in 2013.

DeSHAZO Crane Company Awarded Overhead Bridge Crane Contract for Tennessee Polysilicon Facility

DeSHAZO Crane Company ("DeSHAZO") announced today that it has been awarded a contract from Wacker Polysilicon North America ("Wacker") for overhead bridge cranes and related installation services for Wacker's fully integrated polysilicon production facility in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Wacker began construction of the new production facility on July 4, 2011. Once completed in late 2013, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 15,000 metric tons of hyperpure polycrystalline silicon for use in photovoltaic and solar energy industries.

DeSHAZO Crane Company Awarded Large Thyssen Krupp Contract

Mitchell, III, President of Mitchell Industries Inc., announced today that DeSHAZO Crane Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitchell Industries Inc., has been awarded a $29 million dollar contract to provide 36 overhead cranes to the new Thyssen Krupp steel mill in Mobile, AL.
